Plant Origin:
The Cycas, commonly associated with the Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta), is native primarily to southern Japan, particularly the Ryukyu Islands, with related natural populations extending into parts of southern China. It is an ancient plant group with a distinctive prehistoric appearance, recognised for its symmetrical crown of tough, evergreen fronds. This artificial interpretation captures the characteristic form and rich green foliage of the Cycas while providing lasting beauty without the maintenance of a living plant.
